Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a mission-critical DoD customer in the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area. The role focuses on Appian application design, development, integration, and enhancement to meet federal workflows and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Appian development experience, strong integration skills, and the ability to work with government stakeholders in a secure federal environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Appian development experience and knowledge of Appian components.
• Experience integrating Appian with external systems via APIs and databases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and interacting with technical/government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Appian applications and workflows.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and designs.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations between Appian and enterprise systems using APIs and databases.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and government stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning and demonstrations.
• Support secure federal environment delivery and compliance with security requirements.
