Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar membership
- Minimum 5 years of appellate litigation experience, preferably plaintiff-side
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including briefs and motions
- Provide on-site trial support to attorneys during trials
- Review drafts of filings on substantive motions and responses
- Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex issues
- Collaborate with trial attorneys on litigation and appellate strategies
- Draft clear, persuasive briefs and memoranda
- Present oral arguments before appellate courts
- Stay current on appellate law developments
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys and staff
