Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Hybrid Temporary Senior Designer for Apparel to lead seasonal design direction and mentor a team of designers. The role blends remote work with 2–3 days at our Philadelphia Home Office alongside the in-house design team.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in women’s design, strong CAD/Illustrator skills, and a keen eye for market trends aligned with the Anthropologie customer. Travel to factories and collaboration with Production are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in women’s design.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and Anthropologie customer.
• Hybrid role requiring 2–3 days in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Set season direction and trend for designs.
• Supervise designers and coordinate with Design Director and Buying team.
• Source fabrics and trims within budget and lead-time constraints.
• Develop technical specs and CAD sketches for domestic/overseas programs.
• Travel to factories to develop and execute programs.
• Develop and train Assistant/Associate Designers.
