Job summary

Insomniac Holdings, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Apparel and Accessories Product Development to lead factory cost conversations, BOM maintenance, and cost alignment with financial objectives for our festival division. The role involves collaborating with international and domestic vendors, overseeing sampling, and communicating adjustments to teams.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years+ experience in product development, design or production in garment manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of raw materials and garment construction.
• Experience working with domestic and international manufacturers.
• Proven leadership and direction through the development process.
• Ability to demonstrate capabilities through a costing exercise.
• Familiarity with a PLM system.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and recommend new manufacturers in the apparel space.
• Build yearly development schedules and keep development on track.
• Develop products and review prototypes for quality, brand aesthetic and design intent that meets MOQs and line plan.
• Lead cost negotiations with factories and vendors through product lifecycle (costing, time and action, minimums).
• Meet product development milestones with pre-production tracking and reporting.
• Provide costing rollups for final cost per brand or classification.
• Analyze company reports to review business, category needs and trends.
• Partner with Creative Director to refine seasonal concepts, colors and materials.
• Create technical packages and specifications.
• Manage approval process of all items in development.
• Create cost sheets for all inventoried items.
• Maintain timelines and WIP reports across all phases and vendors.
• Travel to factories to oversee QC and ensure audit compliance.
