Job summary

Nord Security is seeking a security-focused professional to safeguard mobile and desktop applications, browser extensions, and related threats across the product line. You will lead security assessments, coordinate with product teams, and drive secure development practices to protect millions of users worldwide.

You will influence security decisions, support audits, and mentor teams through security training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile/desktop applications security assessment: planning, testing, methodologies, and vulnerability reporting.
• Knowledge of OS security topics across Linux/Windows/macOS/iOS/Android.
• Ability to define security test scope with stakeholders and propose remediation actions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure software design security and set secure implementation practices with product development teams.
• Act as a glue to align security-related communications across release teams.
• Plan and manage development of security tools within the team.
• Create tasks for security reviews (SAST/DAST/SCA, app security testing).
• Cooperate with product teams to learn changes for informed security decisions.
• Ensure mobile/desktop apps and browser extensions are well tested.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Deliver training for security engineering awareness and adoption.
• Identify internal security gaps within product and organization.
