Job summary

The Kendall Group in Knoxville, TN seeks an API Developer III to design, build, and maintain enterprise APIs and SSIS-based integrations that connect ERP data with internal systems, customers, and vendors. You will translate complex data models into reliable, scalable payloads and apply versioning and security best practices.

You will implement robust error handling, monitoring, and performance tuning while mentoring other developers and ensuring data integrity across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional API development and SSIS system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of REST, HTTP, JSON, and authentication methods (API keys, OAuth).
• Experience with ETL patterns, data normalization, and transactional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs exposing ERP data and integrating with business systems.
• Build and maintain SSIS packages to orchestrate API integrations, data transformations, and error handling.
• Translate complex multi-valued data structures into normalized API payloads for external consumption.
