Job summary

Intertek seeks a Mechanical Integrity Inspector to join our Asset Integrity Management team to perform API inspections on API 510/570 RBI projects. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to ensure compliance and safe operation.

The role requires 7+ years in Mechanical Integrity Inspection, API 510 certification, NDE and drafting background, and a valid TWIC and driver's license. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Mechanical Integrity Inspection.
• API 510 certification (additional 570, 653 or 580 a plus).
• NDE and Drafting background preferred.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record required.
• Excellent computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply examination criteria to job scopes and evaluate results.
• Strong communication with coworkers, clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain mechanical integrity.
• Data entry into the RBMI database and develop RBI Inspection program.
• Provide oversight and make RBMI program recommendations.
• Conduct NDE inspections as needed.
• Scope, perform and coordinate turnaround inspection activities.
• Write detailed inspection and turnaround reports and maintain documentation.
