Job summary

Phillips 66’s Billings Refinery is seeking a Sr Engineer I in Advanced Process Control (APC) to optimize refinery processes with APC strategies. You will lead design, tuning, and deployment of APC applications using Honeywell Forge APC and related tools, while ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll monitor APC performance, develop models, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with process engineering, operations, and control teams to maximize unit margins and energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years in process engineering/design, process control, and/or APC in refining/manufacturing.
• Legally authorized to work in the posting country.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, tuning, and optimization of APC applications to improve unit stability, throughput, and yields.
• Monitor APC performance and KPI; diagnose issues and drive corrective actions with process teams.
• Develop and maintain APC models and control strategies; ensure safety and reliability.
