Job summary

Penumbra, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage end-to-end supplier invoices and payments. The role supports month-end close, AP aging, and reporting, aligning with company policies.

Onsite in Alameda, four days a week, with a strong emphasis on process improvements and cross‑functional collaboration. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH) and experience in SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, accounting, or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, graphs & dashboard creation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end invoices and payments for key suppliers.
• Oversee global supplier payment process ensuring timely disbursements per policy.
• Prepare AP aging, payment analyses, and month-end close reports.
• Assist in 1099 reporting and state escheatment filings.
