Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Lewisville, TX seeks a laboratory-based Principal AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist with Hematopathology sign-out capabilities. The role covers a broad spectrum including Hematopathology, Women’s Health, GU, Breast, Head and Neck, and GI biopsies.

Applicants must have MD/DO, board certification in AP/CP and Hematopathology, plus TX licensure or eligibility and active privileges. Excellent communication with laboratory decision-makers is essential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency.
• Must be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
• Must be board certified in hematopathology.
• Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in TX or be eligible to obtain licensure.
• Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted.

Responsibilities

• Handle an interesting variety of cases including Hematopathology, Women’s Health (GYN) including GYN Cytology, GU, Breast, Head and Neck (ENT) pathology, and GI biopsies.
