Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation in Seattle is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to strengthen financial controls, analytics, and reporting across the AP function. You will lead audits, refine workflows, and build dashboards to improve accuracy and vendor satisfaction.

Collaborating with procurement, Accounting, Treasury, and internal Audit, you will define KPIs, monitor compliance, and support automation initiatives in a high-integrity AP environment.

Qualifications

• Education: associate’s degree and four years AP experience in a medium/large company.
• Strong understanding of AP/GL systems and internal controls.
• Analytical problem solving and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enforce AP policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead internal and external audit support activities.
• Monitor invoice approvals, vendor data standards, and payment rules.
• Conduct control testing and risk assessments to identify gaps.
• Build and maintain AP dashboards and scorecards.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual AP performance reports.
• Collaborate with IT/Finance to improve reporting and data integrity.
