Job summary

Hubble Network is seeking a Senior Antenna & RF Hardware Engineer in Seattle for end-to-end ownership of phased-array antennas and RF receive chains on satellite payloads. You will define architecture, perform EM simulations, and implement PCB layouts in Altium through fabrication, with hands-on testing and calibration.

You will lead cross-functional hardware development, verify flight payload performance, and contribute to a fast-paced, early-stage space tech environment while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in antenna/RF design, with multiple antennas from concept to fabricated hardware.
• Proven phased-array design ownership including array/calibration and spacing.
• Experience with full-wave solvers (HFSS, CST, FEKO) and validation.
• Experience with antenna measurement (anechoic chamber, near/far-field).
• Strong RF design fundamentals: matching, LNA/PA, filters, oscillators.
• Front-end receiver design for low-noise performance and downconversion.
• LO generation/distribution across multi-channel systems.
• Hands-on RF bring-up/test with VNA, SA, signal generators, oscilloscope.
• PCB layout of RF circuits in Altium; high-frequency transmission lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of phased-array antennas and RF receive chains for satellite payloads.
• Define array architecture and PAS panels; own RF front-end and receive chains.
• Perform EM simulation and analysis; develop schematic and PCB in Altium; release to fabrication.
• Execute antenna and RF characterization campaigns and verify performance budgets.
• Coordinate hardware development with software and test teams; document flight payload.
