Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Ansible Automation Platform Engineer to support a large-scale automation transformation, migrating from BladeLogic to Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).

This multi-year project will build, deploy, administer, and enhance the platform while modernizing automation capabilities. Based in Charlotte, NC, this hybrid W2 contract requires three onsite days per week and spans 18–24 months.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform deployment and administration.
Experience deploying AAP from scratch or significant platform implementation.
Strong understanding of automation platform architecture, design, configuration, and ongoing administration.
Experience developing automation scripts using Python and YAML.
Experience translating business and technical requirements into automated solutions.
Experience supporting automation migrations, implementations, cutovers, or modernization initiatives.
Experience working with Linux administration, middleware administration, infrastructure automation, or related environments.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL in a platform or application backend environment.
