CTRL + LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to support high-performance computing environments in Annapolis Junction, MD. This on-site role emphasizes secure, reliable change delivery and complex deployments, with Tier 3 escalation leadership and solid IaC automation.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of relevant experience, strong Linux CLI skills, and expertise in Ansible, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree (Master's may substitute for 2 years)
• Proficiency with Linux command-line tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Ansible
• Python experience for custom Ansible modules
• Docker, containerd or Podman
• Helm charts on Kubernetes
• DevOps and GitOps practices
• Git branching and tagging
• Technical documentation responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate configuration changes and software updates in production
• Build custom Ansible modules in Python
• Create release candidates and maintain deployment pipelines
• Lead Tier 3 escalations and root cause analysis
• Develop automated remediation
• Write installation guides, runbooks and architecture diagrams
