VGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play games.

We are currently looking for a Senior Animator to join the team.

As a Senior Animator, you'll be responsible for bringing our games to life and creating compelling customer experiences that keep our customers coming back. To help level-up our team of artists on all aspects of animation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Work with our existing team of artists to ensure that our games come to life and offer an immersive customer experience by providing and executing high quality game animations for our content portfolio.
• Work closely with the head of studio and game development director to identify required assets for a project.
• Provide creative vision through storyboarding, mocks, and research. Accurately estimate the work to realize that vision.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of current competitors, trends, and the industry. Know what’s hot and what’s in and apply that to our content.
• Offer animation mentorship and guidance to the art team and level-up our overall animation quality.
• Represent our Studio in liaising with our partner Studios (GFS) to share learnings and best practices.

What you will bring to the role:

• 7+ years of creative design experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in art/design.
• Advanced 2D/3D animation experience.
• Advanced skills in Spine and After Effects.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and animation.
• Experience in storyboarding and video production.
• Previous slot experience highly preferred.

Base compensation for this role is $140,000 and benefits include accrued PTO, 11 paid company holidays, 401(k) company matching, health, dental, vision coverages, and the ability to work remotely!
