Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a highly specialized frontend expert to architect and deliver enterprise-scale Angular applications at our St. Petersburg, FL location. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence 3 days per week in Florida.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience building enterprise web applications.
7+ years with Angular (v14+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
Strong RxJS experience.
Experience with NgRx or equivalent state management.
Experience building reusable component libraries and scalable front-end architectures.
Experience with responsive, accessible, cross-browser applications.
Understanding of performance optimization (rendering, bundling, lazy loading).
Experience designing RESTful APIs, authentication, caching, and error handling.
Experience with Micro Frontend architectures (Module Federation).
Experience with AG Grid and Apache ECharts or similar libraries.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with Git, CI/CD (Jenkins), SonarQube, automated testing.
SQL and NoSQL basics for debugging/integration.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise Angular apps.
Set front-end standards, best practices, and reusable patterns.
Own end-to-end delivery of UI features from concept to production.
Collaborate with product, UX, archi, QA, DevOps, and backend engineers for scalable solutions.
Lead design discussions, estimate work, identify risks, and guide sprint execution.
Mentor developers via code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sessions.
Identify tech debt and drive modernization for maintainability and performance.
Build reusable UI components and scalable front-end frameworks.
Implement responsive, accessible interfaces with RESTful integrations.
Develop Micro Frontend solutions where appropriate and optimize performance.
Collaborate with backend teams for API design and integration.
Participate in production support rotations and root cause analysis.
Conduct thorough code and architectural reviews to ensure quality.
Develop and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/e2e).
Advocate CI/CD, quality gates, and static analysis; leverage AI tools to improve productivity.
