Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in Angular and TypeScript to design and build enterprise-grade applications. You will contribute across front-end and back-end stacks, own deployments, and drive API maintenance in a hybrid Atlanta-based team.

You will collaborate with product, QA, and cross-functional partners to deliver features, review code, triage issues, and mentor teammates while advancing security and performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript, with experience building complex, high-performance apps.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of both frontend and backend development and how they fit together.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features for Angular-based applications as the senior, hands-on contributor.
• Own the release process including deployments and release scheduling.
• Maintain and enhance backend APIs and partner with API consumers.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and other teams to define and deliver new features and integrations.
• Review code from junior developers and provide constructive feedback to improve quality.
• Triage bugs and security findings with engineering leadership to set priorities.
• Monitor app performance and resolve cross-stack issues.
• Provide effort estimates for sprint and roadmap planning; participate in agile ceremonies.
• Drive upgrade roadmap by identifying framework, package, and dependency updates.
• Mentor teammates on assigned systems and workflows.
