Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join our technology team in New York City with a hybrid onsite model. The role focuses on building high-performance web apps for investment banking functions, from trading to client reporting.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, UX designers, and backend engineers, mentor junior developers, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while upholding security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 14+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• 5+ years of experience with Investment Banks (required).
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, scalable UI components.
• Integrate front-end with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and investment banking stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
• Develop dashboards, analytical tools, and client-facing platforms.
• Implement state management using NgRx, RxJS, or equivalent solutions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, accessibility, and usability standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
