VLink is seeking a Sr. Front End Software Engineer in Cary, NC to modernize a legacy application and design scalable Angular structures. You will collaborate across the stack with Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js services to deliver high-quality features on an aggressive timeline.

The role requires deep Angular experience, strong cross-stack skills, and a focus on performance, maintainability, and modern front-end patterns. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Angular experience (Angular 10+ preferred).
• 5+ years of Node.js development for supporting services or integration tooling.
• 3+ years of Java (Spring Boot) for backend collaboration or full-stack delivery.
• Experience with NgRx or Component Store.
• Experience with test automation tools (Jest, Jasmine/Karma, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with AWS services (CloudFront, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design modern Angular applications with standalone components and feature modules.
• Build reusable UI components using Angular Material or custom design systems.
• Implement state management with RxJS, NgRx, or Component Store.
• Develop data services, interceptors, and API integration with HttpClient.
• Apply performance techniques like OnPush, lazy loading, and route splitting.
• Collaborate with Java Spring Boot microservices and Node.js layers.
• Modernize legacy front-end code and align with best practices.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with linting, testing, and build validation.
• Explore AI-assisted development for code generation and testing.
