Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable frontend web applications. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into modular code.

Responsibilities include building responsive Angular applications, managing state, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web development experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and RxJS.
• Hands-on experience with state management, lazy loading, and component lifecycle hooks.
• Proficiency with Git, NPM/Yarn, Angular CLI, and frontend testing suites.
• Understanding of HTTP protocols, CORS, and JWT authentication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement responsive frontend applications using Angular (v20+) and TypeScript.
• Manage state efficiently using modern practices (Signals, RxJS, or NgRx).
• Optimize performance, bundle size, and load times for speed and scalability.
• Build reusable components, directives, pipes, and modular feature architectures.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket services into client-side workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using Vitest.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
