Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable frontend applications. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex business requirements into modular frontend code.

The role requires 5+ years of Angular/TypeScript experience, strong HTML/CSS skills, and a focus on performance and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional web development experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and RxJS asynchronous patterns.
Hands-on experience with state management, lazy loading, and component lifecycle hooks.
Proficiency with Git, NPM/Yarn, Angular CLI, and frontend testing suites.
Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, CORS, and JWT authentication.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement responsive frontend applications using Angular (v20+) and TypeScript.
Manage state efficiently using Signals, RxJS, or NgRx.
Optimize performance, bundle size, and load times for speed and scalability.
Build reusable components, directives, pipes, and modular architectures.
Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket services into client-side workflows.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using Vitest.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
