Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is actively seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases. The role includes pre-anesthesia evaluations, formulating anesthetic plans with patients, and overseeing induction through emergence while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure in good standing.
• ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
