Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking Full-time General Anesthesiologists to join a well-established anesthesia department serving the Lancaster area. The team includes 38 physicians, 70+ CRNAs, and 24 anesthesia technicians across multiple locations, including Lancaster General Hospital and affiliated centers.

There are teaching opportunities for SRNAs and residents, with in-house call and a patient-centered approach to care in a Level 1 trauma center setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license.
• Must be a graduate of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology is required.
• A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs.

Responsibilities

• Join a well-established Anesthesia department with 38 physicians, over 70 CRNAs, and 24 anesthesia techs.
• Cover over 50 anesthetizing locations daily in Lancaster General Hospital and affiliated centers.
• Mentor and teach SRNAs and residents as part of clinical education.

Education

MD/DO from an accredited School of Medicine

ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency

Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology

Unrestricted PA Medical License or ability to obtain
