Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks an Anesthesiologist to join their team at UPMC Western Maryland, a short-term acute care hospital. Responsibilities include directing anesthesia for surgical patients, monitoring their conditions, and ensuring quality care during procedures. The position requires an M.D./D.O. with necessary certifications and experience in anesthesia. Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
• Currently licensed as a physician.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Responsible for the medical management of patients under anesthesia.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Education
