• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review anesthesia records, operative reports, and medical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensures accurate coding, billing compliance.
• Analyzes Epic electronic medical record for assigning CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS and Modifiers for anesthesia services.
• Apply appropriate anesthesia modifiers such as AA, QK, QX, QY, QZ.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and communicate via EPIC query with providers for clarification.
• Review denials, coding corrections related to anesthesia services.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information per policies.
• Meet productivity targets of charts (60-100 per day).
• Review assigned work queues.
• Full knowledge of NCCI to review and resolve edits for Part B billing.
• Performs other incidental duties as required.
