Job summary

Apple ANE Software team is building the compiler and runtime for machine learning accelerators on Apple Silicon. The role focuses on hardware-accelerated AI execution with real-time, low-power performance across Apple platforms.

You will analyze software interfaces to hardware, develop across framework and firmware, and collaborate with model teams to optimize ML workloads. Strong C/C++/Python and compiler experience are required, with preferences for MS/PhD in CS/ML and MLIR knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in computer science or related field.
• Experience with compiler development and performance profiling.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++ or Python.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement software interfacing with the hardware for AI applications across Apple product platforms.
• Develop software across framework, driver and firmware.
• Collaborate with model teams to support new ML models on Apple Silicon hardware.
• Work cross-functionally with hardware and software teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct performance profiling and diagnostics using specialized tools.
• Engage with QA teams.
