Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in building features for android platforms, with experience developing cross-platform UI components.
• 2 years of client side development experience.
• 2 years of experience personalizing user interfaces through data-driven insights.
• 2 years of experience with Android development.
• Experience programming in C++

Responsibilities

• Drive full-stack development in the YouTube Shorts consumption experience, offering opportunities across client development (native Android and iOS), cross-platform UI and C++ frontend serving (server platform).
• Leverage data pipelines and other tools for experiment and data analysis.
• Pioneer new work streams to build ML models and heuristics to personalize and optimize the Shorts player UI.
