Strong C++ and Java/Kotlin skills, embedded software experience on mobile devices, and a solid grasp of Linux development are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java or Python; experience in Android/Linux environments.
• Experience in Android Open Source Project (AOSP) contributions is a plus.
• Embedded software development for mobile devices with good data structure knowledge.
• Ability to work across UI, framework, middleware and radio interface layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and drive telephony features on Android platform.
• Debug and fix complex problems across Android UI, framework, middleware and radio layers.
• Develop tools and test applications to streamline testing processes.
• Contribute to Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
• Support pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up of future chipsets.
