Job summary

Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. is seeking a talented Software Engineer with Linux/Android internals experience to design, implement and debug telephony software for 4G/5G, voice/data, IMS – VoLTE, and VoWifi.

You will work across Android UI, framework, middleware and radio interface layers, contribute to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), and assist in pre- and post-silicon bring-up of future chipsets, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, Java/Kotlin with strong data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Linux/Android internals and telephony software.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and drive new telephony features on Android platform.
• Debug complex problems across Android UI, framework, middleware and radio interface layer.
• Contribute to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and tests.
• Bring-up of future chipsets in pre/post-silicon stages.
