Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in Android Framework or Embedded Android development.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) internals.
• Experience working with Android Framework, HAL, Binder IPC, and Android system services.
• Good understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, and device drivers.
• Experience with Android build systems such as Soong and Make.
• Proficiency in debugging using ADB, Logcat, GDB, Systrace, and related Android debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android framework components and system services.
• Develop native layer components using C/C++ (NDK).
• Customize and enhance Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for device-specific requirements.
• Optimize Android framework features for performance, memory, and power efficiency.
• Develop and integrate Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) components and interface with device drivers.
• Debug and resolve issues across application, framework, native, and kernel layers.
• Analyze system logs and debug using tools such as ADB, Logcat, Systrace, and GDB.
• Collaborate with hardware, BSP, kernel, and application teams for feature integration and issue resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to framework architecture improvements.
