Unity Technologies in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Staff Android SDK Engineer for Ad Rendering & Monetization. You will architect and evolve the Android SDK to support scalable ad delivery, interfacing between native Android and hybrid renderers (WebView/JS bridges), and improve stability across video, playable, end card, and store flows.

You will drive concurrency‑safe SDK APIs, optimize memory, profiling, ANR and crash reduction, and partner with product and data teams to optimize SDK

Formación

• Four years of Android development experience or six years total in related work.
• Experience building and maintaining Android SDKs used by third‑party apps.
• Experience with WebView or hybrid rendering architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Android SDK architecture to support scalable ad delivery.
• Improve rendering stability and load/show success across video, playable, end card, and store flows.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in memory, caching, threading and timeout handling.
• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to drive SDK metrics and monetization quality.
