Unity Technologies SF is seeking a Staff Android SDK Engineer for Ad Rendering & Monetization. You will design and evolve the Android SDK architecture to support scalable ad delivery and own the interaction between native Android components and hybrid rendering layers.

Aim to improve rendering stability and performance across various ad formats. You will collaborate with Product and Data teams to drive SDK metrics, work across Android, iOS, WebView, and Backend, and coordinate engineering,

Qualifications

• Four years of Android development experience
• Experience building and maintaining Android SDKs used by third‑party apps
• Android lifecycle management experience
• Concurrency experience with Coroutines, Executors, and thread pools
• Memory management and performance profiling expertise
• ANR and crash root cause analysis
• Designing modular, well‑documented SDK APIs
• Experience with WebView or hybrid rendering architectures
• Experience with Ads/Monetization/Ad Tech platforms
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and telemetry systems

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Data to drive SDK metrics and ad experiences.
• Serve as Android SDK architecture expert on cross‑platform system design decisions.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, and data teams.
