Job summary

The Trade Desk is looking for an experienced Android Platform Software Engineer to help develop platform software for Android devices, focusing on advancing technology and collaborating with OEMs for hardware integration.

You will work on board bring-up including bootloader work, kernel porting, and driver integration, while shaping Android framework components and BSPs to ensure high performance and reliability across devices in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Android platform development.
• 5+ years leading board bring-up and kernel customization.
• Expertise in BSP development, HAL, and device-tree configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead board bring-up for new Android devices, including bootloader customization and kernel porting.
• Design and develop Android Framework components (System Services, HAL, Native Daemons).
• Create and maintain BSPs for various SoC platforms (Qualcomm, MediaTek, NVIDIA, etc.).
• Collaborate with OEMs to integrate platform software and optimize performance.
