Job summary

Applied Intuition is hiring for an Android/Android Automotive OS software engineer who will develop and maintain middleware from front-end to HAL. You will collaborate across teams to create new features and tools and tackle engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in CS/related and at least 2 years of software engineering experience with C++, Java, Android, memory management, vector databases, multithreading, and distributed storage

We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the role

We're looking for someone who has:

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related,

• At least 2 years of experience in a software engineer role with a technology company

• At least 24 months of experience using C++, Java, Android, mobile memory management, vector databases, multithreading programming, and distributed object storage architectures
