Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale seeks a software engineer to develop and maintain Android/Android Automotive OS middleware from front-end to HAL, and to work across the stack to build new products and tools.

You will design efficient solutions to a wide range of engineering challenges, collaborating with infrastructure, automotive, and graphics engineers and startup veterans to ship complex software in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in CS or Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a software engineer role with a technology company.
• Experience with C++, Java, Android, memory management, vector databases, multithreading, and distributed storage architectures.

We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related,

• At least 2 years of experience in a software engineer role with a technology company

• At least 24 months of experience using C++, Java, Android, mobile memory management, vector databases, multithreading programming, and distributed object storage architectures
