ManpowerGroup seeks a Senior Android Platform Engineer for onsite work in Irvine, CA. You will lead Android 17 baseline bring-up on IFE hardware, configuring boot flows and integrating vendor and platform images to achieve a stable, secure Android baseline.

The role requires hands-on OS porting, BSP integration, HAL setup, and rigorous HW-SW debugging across the Android stack, with cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable platform builds.

Formación

• Experience across Android platform stack: bootloader, Linux kernel, device drivers, BSP, HAL, Android framework integration.
• Knowledge of bootloader workflows, fastboot, recovery, and engineering flashing.
• Experience delivering patches and validations for platform bring-up and stability.

Responsabilidades

• Port and integrate Android 17 baseline onto target IFE hardware.
• Configure AOSP device, product, board, and vendor layers; define boot flow.
• Integrate system, vendor, product, ODM, boot and vendor-boot images; update configs and properties.
• Enable and stabilize peripherals by configuring HALs and drivers; reach stable baseline.
• Support bootloader and kernel adaptation, Android Verified Boot and secure-boot; troubleshoot boot issues.
