Capital One is seeking a Mobile Engineer for Android with remote eligibility. You will partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features for 100M+ customers and lead mobile architecture decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 3 years building native mobile apps for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).
Demonstrated experience with modern native UI frameworks such as SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose.
Experience designing scalable mobile architectures and automated testing suites.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-performing features for 100M+ customers that are engaging and simple.
Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture and design patterns.
Mentor engineers through code reviews and best practices.
Grow subject-matter expertise in performance, accessibility, and architecture.
Lead client Backend-for-Frontends (BFFs) and Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architectures.
