Capital One is seeking a Mobile Engineer 4 to drive Android/iOS features for hundreds of millions of customers. You will lead mobile architecture decisions, mentor peers, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver scalable, high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will champion modern native UI frameworks like Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI, contribute to API design, and help implement automated testing and performance optimizations for mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of native mobile development for Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift).

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, designers and product managers to deliver high-performing features for millions of customers.
• Provide technical leadership for mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Mentor engineers and foster growth through feedback and code reviews.
• Lead client Backend-for-Frontends (BFFs) and Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architectures.
• Drive quality, performance, accessibility and robust testing practices.
