Farmers Insurance is seeking a Senior Android Developer to elevate our Android suite. You will partner with stakeholders, product managers and engineers to shape what we build and how we build it, setting technical direction and mentoring the team.

You’ll help define the future of mobile at Farmers, applying AI to real-world products and advocating modern Android practices. This Hybrid role requires onsite presence in Woodland Hills, CA three days per week.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin mastery including coroutines and Flow.
• Jetpack Compose plus modern declarative UI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and development of feature-rich Android apps.
• Own code quality, release readiness and mobile codebase health.
• Collaborate with business/product teams to translate ideas into roadmaps.
• Build proofs of concept for AI-driven capabilities.
• Mentor developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Drive adoption of modern tools and best practices across mobile team.
