Remote DXB is seeking an experienced Android engineering leader to drive technical delivery and mentor a team of developers. You will champion AI-assisted development patterns, implement MVVM architecture, and collaborate with product teams to build robust mobile software that interfaces with printers and payment terminals.

The role requires a strong background in Android SDK, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and experience publishing native apps.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science or related STEM field.
8+ years hands-on experience building robust mobile software.
Expert knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
Portfolio with published native Android apps.
Experience architecting libraries, SDKs, and tools.
Proficiency with AI development tooling.
Ability to lead and mentor developers.
Experience with CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery and Android engineering leadership.
Champion AI-assisted development patterns and guardrails.
Mentor and coach fellow engineers.
Implement MVVM architecture and testing strategies.
