Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional Android application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android application development.
• Experience designing and developing applications using MVVM, MVC, or MVI architecture.
• Experience building unit tests and working toward established code-coverage requirements.
• Knowledge of Android application testing, production deployment, and app distribution processes.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical conversations and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Analyze business requirements, recommend technical solutions, and lead discussions with Technical Program Managers, technical leads, and project stakeholders.
• Build application features in accordance with established coding standards and Android development best practices.
• Create unit tests and meet or exceed the code-coverage targets established by the project.
• Support application testing, release management, and successful deployment to production.
• Implement appropriate application monitoring solutions based on client and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical designs, service specifications, and application documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to developers preparing functional and technical specifications.
