Tools for Humanity is seeking an experienced Android-focused engineer to design, develop, and scale native Android applications as part of the World ecosystem. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust solutions focused on security, privacy, and user-friendly experiences.

The role emphasizes shipping high-impact features, working across teams, and adapting to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Designed and developed natively for Android for some time.
• Proven track record of writing exceptional software.
• Strong collaboration, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Able to operate in ambiguous and changing conditions and focus on priorities.
• Clear written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Expand: Drive the growth of World ID and World App by introducing new verification methods, enhancing existing ones, simplifying enrollment, and enabling seamless account management to reduce churn.
• Engage: Develop product features, SDKs, cloud integrations, and privacy-preserving solutions for securely attesting personal information; collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Risk, Data Science, and other Engineering teams.
• Excel: Build core technologies and infrastructure to optimize security, privacy, compliance, reliability, and development velocity for World.
• Extend: Advance an open and decentralized platform for empowering third-party developers to integrate World without relying on proprietary technologies and single points of failure.
