Job summary

Digital Turbine is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to build and harden Android SDKs and on-device services powering app delivery, discovery, and monetization at carrier and OEM scale.

You will work on a small, autonomous team, owning products end to end from design through release, monitoring, and on-call, helping reduce installation failures and extend on-device presence as part of our FY27 roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production mobile software, with deep expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience shipping SDKs or framework-level code used by other developers.
• Working knowledge of iOS (Swift/Objective-C) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Android SDKs and on-device services.
• Drive down install and delivery failures across a fragmented device/OS landscape.
• Partner with OEM and carrier teams to ship features under platform constraints.
• Extend on-device surfaces for alternative distribution and brand-on-device experiences.
• Own the full lifecycle: instrumentation, rollout strategy, A/B testing, on-call.
• Mentor other engineers on mobile best practices.
