Job summary

BioTalent is seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to join our San Diego team on-site. You’ll lead mobile development for a connected medical device ecosystem, delivering high-impact features end-to-end with close collaboration across embedded, cloud, cybersecurity, and regulatory groups.

The ideal candidate has 6-8+ years of Android-focused software experience, deep Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills, and a track record shipping apps to the Google Play Store.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of software development with strong Android focus.
• Advanced Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Experience building apps that run reliably in the background and handle connectivity drops.

Responsibilities

• Own complex features end-to-end from design through implementation, verification, release, and post-market support.
• Collaborate with embedded, cloud, systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory teams.
• BLE and connected-hardware experience is a big plus.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to drive quality from start to finish.
