Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and Jetpack libraries.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Unidirectional Data Flow.
• Strong understanding of Kotlin Coroutines.
• Experience optimizing Android applications for memory, rendering, battery, and runtime performance.
• Experience with complex multi-module Android builds.
• Proven experience releasing or maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of the complete Android application development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of major Android application features.
• Provide technical direction and expertise across the Android engineering team.
• Develop modern Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Jetpack libraries.
• Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, automated testing, security, and application performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving memory management, rendering, battery usage, and runtime performance.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Android developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Improve development, testing, and deployment processes to increase engineering efficiency.
• Evaluate technical and operational risks while ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, and reliability standards.
• Contribute to scalable and maintainable multi-module Android applications.
