Job summary

Adobe's Behance team is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join the Mobile Engineering group. You will architect, develop, build and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java, driving modern Android development practices and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, review code, and help shape roadmaps. Fluency in Kotlin/Java, GraphQL experience, CI/CD pipelines, and accessibility/localization awareness are essential, as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years delivering customer-facing software.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with GraphQL to connect app to back-end services.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Accessibility and localization awareness.
• Leadership and mentoring of teammates.

Responsibilities

• Architect, Develop, Build, and Maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin & Java.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code ensuring performance and quality.
• Implement MAD practices (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack).
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to ship features.
