Job summary

Qonto is seeking an Android Engineer to build a mobile experience used by hundreds of thousands of European businesses. You will own features end-to-end in a large Kotlin codebase, collaborating with Product, Design, Backend, and Frontend.

You’ll work in an AI-forward engineering environment with strong coding standards, performance focus, and opportunities to mentor teammates across a 140+ mobile engineering community.

Qualifications

• Shipped and maintained production Android features in Kotlin.
• Comfort owning technical decisions end-to-end.
• Strong testing (unit/UI/snapshot) and clean code practices.
• Able to operate in ambiguity and produce robust solutions.
• Proactive in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from discovery to rollout and iteration.
• Drive technical decisions within the squad balancing UX, performance, security, and time-to-market.
• Improve app reliability, architecture, performance, and test strategy for scale.
• Contribute to real-time synchronization and resilient mobile patterns in a modular codebase.
• Lead code reviews and mentor peers to raise engineering standards.
