Expedia Group is seeking an Android Mobile Engineer III to join the SPX - Core, Coaching, Insights team. You will design, develop, and maintain Android applications and services that empower partners to manage their businesses with insights and tools.

The role emphasizes system design, API design, data modeling, testing, and performance optimization, with collaboration across engineering, product, design, and other teams. Experience with AI/ML-enabled workflows is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• Experience developing production Android applications and services using mobile engineering practices.
• Experience owning engineering work for a service or product area through design, testing, deployment and operation.
• Proficiency in system design, API design, data modeling, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and apply technical judgment to deliver reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications and services for multiple product domains.
• Translate requirements into scalable mobile/ service solutions with emphasis on maintainability, performance, and security.
• Apply design principles to build cohesive mobile and service integrations.

• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions and apply AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
