Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Android applications.
• Experience with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices.
• Proficient with modern API standards and technologies (REST, GraphQL).
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Proven track record of technical leadership on complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable features across Toast’s enterprise management products.
• Hands-on design and implementation of Android applications in Kotlin.
• Lead complex projects that improve the functionality and reliability of our products.
• Ensure quality by building automated testing for changes.
• Contribute to the overall quality of the Android and backend systems.
• Collaborate with UX, PM, QA, and Engineering to define, design, and build best-in-class solutions in a complex and fast-moving environment.
• Guide the growth & development of peer engineers with mentoring and coaching.
