Job summary

CACI International seeks a Senior Android Developer to deliver high-performance mobile software for the CBP client from our BEAGLE ASF Team in Northern Virginia. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product owners to produce secure, scalable Android solutions.

Required: U.S. citizenship, CBP background eligibility, 5+ years in software, 4+ years native Android, and hybrid Ashburn, VA availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or related discipline.
At least 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years designing/building native Android apps.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for CBP background investigation; local Ashburn, VA hybrid work preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain native Android apps in Kotlin (and Java) with minimal oversight.
Architect maintainable mobile codebases using MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
Provide technical leadership and design recommendations for Android platforms and follow Google Material Design guidelines.
Participate in release and sprint planning, testing, and demonstrations to deliver releasable mobile software.
Collaborate with backend, UX/UI, product owners, and end-users to ensure product success.
Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.
